Very few people know what to do or where to start when it comes to making funeral arrangements. At Southgate & Roberts, our team will answer all of your questions without obligation or cost.
1. Give us a call
Conscious of what a difficult call this is to make, we will simply ask a few key questions that establish who has died, who the next of kin is and where death has taken place.

2. Conveying your loved one
We will always endeavour to bring your loved one in to our care as soon as possible. How soon depends on a number of factors.
3. Registering a death
We will guide you through how to do this and make all necessary appointments on your behalf.

4. Personal attention
We will need to meet up in person to talk through all the different options and costs involved. This can take place at a time and day to suit you and in the comfort of your own home, or if preferred at our modern comfortable premises.
5. Care of your loved one
Once in our care, we will make all the necessary preparations to ensure that the deceased is presented in the best possible way for any visitors wishing to spend time with them. Our premises and facilities for doing this are of an extremely high standard.
6. Continuity of care
Throughout every stage of making the arrangements, we will be at your side to guide and support you. Whatever the hour or day, we are always available to speak with right through to the day of the funeral itself and beyond where necessary.
